MITAGS 2021 CoE for Domestic Maritime Workforce Training/Ed
On May 19th, the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Maritime Administration (MARAD) announced the designation of 27 Centers of Excellence for Domestic Maritime Workforce Training and Education (CoE). The CoE designation recognizes community colleges and training institutions that prepare students for careers in our nation’s maritime industry. MMP MATES Non-Profit Designation Changed to 501c3
The MATES Program has received approval from the Internal Revenue Service to change to a 501c3 non-profit public charity. Donors can now deduct contributions made to MATES under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 170.
